Due to public health concerns with COVID-19 our physical library is closed until further notice, but we continue to provide many services remotely for our community. Our Wi-Fi is on and accessible outside the building. Saturday Stitch Club, Book Club and Conversational Spanish groups continue to meet through ZOOM at their regular times and staff is available for reference services. Our Summer Reading Program is virtual and prizes are awarded weekly. All due dates have been extended until we reopen, and our electronic resources have been expanded.

Materials pickup service hours:

Tuesday-Saturday from 12-3pm

1. Patrons may submit requests for any circulating material through the online catalog or telephone (505)897-0733. Limits on requests are 5 per person, but if parents would like to reserve more children's books just call us. We're always happy to help.

2. Once you place a reserve, a staff member will notify you that your item(s) is ready and confirm a pickup time.

3. Call us at (505)897-0733 when you arrive at your confirmed pickup time.

4. Pick up your items.

When a patron calls to let us know they have arrived a staff member will place the patron’s bagged materials on a table set up by the door. Staff will have your bag labeled with your name. Pickup times will be spaced so that only 1 patron will be picking up their materials at a specific time, so please be prompt in retrieving your items and only come to the library at your confirmed pickup time.

Staff will fill your holds as quickly as possible; however, wait times may be longer than usual, so please be patient.

Please do not attempt to use materials pickup to return materials directly to staff. This is essential to maintain safe handling of all materials. Materials may be placed in the book drop where they will be quarantined. We have done our best to clean the books and are only circulating items that have been quarantined for a minimum of 4 days.

Remember, Corrales Community Library building remains closed to the public at this time and restrooms, computers, and other spaces will not be accessible.
